More on the Göttingen Septuagint: It is Invaluable for Practical Textual Criticism

gottingen-septuagintBack in February I mentioned the Septuagint published by Vandenhoeck and Ruprecht and electronic-ized by Logoshere and then again a little later here.  Abram K-J reminded me of the issue today with an aside in a comment and – in either a coincidence or by Divine Providence the usefulness of the edition was highlighted in a discussion on the Biblical Studies List just this morning.

That is, Barry Hoffstetter wrote to the List

Could anyone who has it send me Job 6:6 from the Gottingen LXX?

To which I responded with this excerpt from the G.E. :
