Theological German and other things

Well, now that school is over for the semester, I am given a little bit of free time (when I am not working) to pursue other interest. This break I am taking up theological German. My exposure to Greek has made German not that bad. A lot of the same learning skills I used for Greek and am finding them useful for German. Thus far I have learned basic vocabulary, grammar, grammatical rules, nouns, and adjectives. I am liking it thus far, and I am encouraged with the Lord’s granting of a desire to learn.

I am back at the bookstore again, and I am already loving it! I love my co-workers, they are a pleasure to minister besides. Not a lot of books to buy this break, at least not yet. I am looking forward to my last semester as an undergraduate. I am taking classes such as Greek Exegesis (of Hebrews); the book of Hebrews; Theology II; and other classes. The Lord is the reason I live and breathe, and to His name be all the glory, majesty, and dominion forever!

Psalm 1

1 Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

3 He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.

4 The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;

6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
