You can catch the interview with Bart on the Daily Show here. It is a very interesting interview. In the interview, both John Stewart (the host) and Ehrman say that the text of the Bible is alive, and they are indeed right about that (Heb. 4.12). But it is not alive because of scribes making insertions or deletions from the text, it is the Holy Spirit that cause the Scripture to come alive. Anyways, check it out if you have the time.

I have time. The only thing I found gratifying about that interview is that the Bible was the topic of their discussion. It is hard to know why people don’t believe in it if they never criticize it. Now, have you listened to my interview yet?
